In the latest development pertaining to the SSC scam, fresh raids are being carried out by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee’s aide Arpita Mukherjee’s two residences. On Wednesday, around 12 ED officials along with the CRPF personnel arrived at Mukherjee’s Belgharia and Rathtala residences located in North 24 Parganas district and are currently conducting raids in a bid to find more crucial documents and cash.It is pertinent to note that around 6 to 7 teams of ED are on the ground and carrying out raids at multiple locations. On Tuesday, a black diary was recovered from Arpitha’s residence which contained– sensational information pertaining to the names of illegal recruits who need to be included in the merit list, as well as, how much money would be passed from what location.

Arpita Mukherjee’s Belgharia flat key is missing. Now the ED officials raided Arpita’s ancestral home. Arpita’s mother and maid live in that house. They are terrified of central intelligence. He did not even open the door of the house in fear. Even after many calls, they are unwilling to speak. Central detectives were forced to go up to the roof of the neighboring house and try to talk to Arpita’s mother. Finally they manage to enter the house and start interrogating Arpita’s mother. Detectives believe that the key to the locked door of Arpita’s flat can be found in that house.

ED raided a flat belonging to Mukherjee’s mother at Belgharia Club Town in North 24 Parganas and covered three other locations in today’s search operation and the result is Rs 42 crore and 5kg of gold as if now and it is still on the process of counting. The Ed official is estimating of Rs 50 crore.

Yesterday, the central agency interrogated both West Bengal minister and TMC leader Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee, who are prime accused in the multi-crore WBSSC recruitment scam.
