Unified Logistics Interface Platform: Emerging as the Pillar of Business Operation
The inception of the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) in 2022 has swiftly positioned it as the foundation of business operations. By streamlining the logistics process and consolidating all services under one umbrella, ULIP has garnered significant traction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the efficacy of the Single Window Logistics Platform, stating, “The single window platform for logistics has ushered in an unprecedented transformation in goods transportation.” This innovation not only translates into time and cost savings but also substantively contributes to the nation’s self-sufficiency goals.
ULIP effectively addresses the challenge of supply chain delays, simultaneously curbing transportation expenses and ensuring the punctual delivery of goods. Furthermore, the system enables real-time monitoring of the EXIM container. With the introduction of the ULIP platform, India’s average port dwell time has now surpassed that of Singapore, China, the US, and the UK. This breakthrough signifies a significant stride toward enhancing India’s competitiveness on the global stage, boosting its trade efficiency, and fostering self-reliance in the logistics realm.
