Union Budget 2025 – 26 was welcomed by leading industrialists, Corporate personalities as well as Chambers of Commerce across the country including CII – East in Kolkata, Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta Chamber of Commerce , Indian Chamber of Commerce.
Shri Shashwat Goenka Vice Chairman of RPSG Group has welcomed the Union Budget 2025-2026. Shri Goenka said Union Budget is focusing on inclusive development for a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
It is a budget with the potential to unlock greater prosperity for the country with the guiding spirit of inclusivity. It is continuity of development thrust of previous budget on
Garib, Youth, Annadata and Nari. Shri Goenka welcomed formation of Makhana Board for overall development & expansion of cultivation of Makhana in agricultural sector which is super food.
Shri Chandrashekhar Ghosh Chairman of Bandhan Group said Budget will lead to growth of insurance sector in a big way in the country.Shri Ghosh also emphasized budget provisions are visionary to transform skill development programs for various sectors including MSMEs at World class level. Such skill development program will facilitate to improve quality of MSME products.
Shri Sanjay Buddhia said Union Budget facilitate healthy competition between the states to promote exports . Shri Buddhia stressed various provisions of Union Budget will facilitate & create conducive environment for growth of export.
Shri Ravi Todi appreciated provisions in the budget to reposition India Post as logistic provider . Shri Todi also appreciated various provisions to expand nuclear energy sector , infrastructure development & others.

“In Personal Income Tax front, the budget has announced extension in the exemption limit, which will give major relief to the tax payers. This will give extra savings to the individual tax payers. The budget also prioritises infrastructure spending, including initiatives like the UDAAN scheme and shipbuilding, which will further boost economic growth. Overall, this is a comprehensive and inclusive financial plan that holistically addresses the needs of various stakeholders—citizens, businesses, and the environment. Skill development, social security and Healthcare initiatives has also been taken care of. This budget will lay the foundation of a developed nation with inclusive development.”
