On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta declared that her administration will release a “white paper” regarding the period of the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in the national capital.

She mentioned this while discussing the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (CAG) report regarding the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) in the Assembly.

The inaugural budget session of the eighth Delhi Assembly is in progress. Earlier today, Gupta presented the CAG report, which is anticipated to clarify the financial and operational features of the DTC. She also mentioned that the economic survey will be presented soon since audits in various departments are still in progress.

Gupta, who additionally manages the finance portfolio, will unveil the first budget of the BJP administration in Delhi in over 26 years this Tuesday. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regained control in the capital last month by overcoming the AAP in the Assembly elections.

The five-day budget meeting commenced on Monday morning with a customary “kheer” ritual.
