No Religion Should Or Can Be Linked To Terrorism

Union On November 18, Home Minister Amit Shah stated that funding terrorism is more dangerous than actual terrorism, which cannot and should not be associated with any one faith or community.

Additionally, he claimed that terrorists are always coming up with innovative ways to commit acts of violence, radicalize youth, and amass financial resources. He also claimed that terrorists use the darknet to disseminate radical content and hide their identities.

“Without a doubt, the biggest danger to international peace and security is terrorism. However, because the “means and tactics” of terrorism are fostered by such money, I think that financing terrorism poses a greater threat than terrorism itself.”

Speaking at the third ‘No Money for Terror Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing’ organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Delhi, Amit Shah remarked, “Furthermore, financing of terrorism damages the economies of countries throughout the world.”

“We also acknowledge that the threat of terrorism cannot and should not be associated with any particular nation, religion, or group,” he continued.

The Union Home Minister stated, “To combat terrorism, we have made great progress in hardening the security architecture, as well as the legal and financial systems.”

Amit Shah claimed that some nations “attempt to undermine or even obstruct, our joint resolve to fight terrorism” in a subtly critical statement directed at Pakistan.

“We have observed that some nations harbor and protect terrorists; therefore, harboring and shielding terrorists constitutes encouraging terrorism. It will be up to us all to ensure that such forces never succeed in what they set out to do” he added.
