Meet Jayanti Chauhan Who Declined To Manage The Rs 7,000 Crore Company
The chairman of Bisleri, one of India’s oldest bottled mineral water firms, Ramesh Chauhan, has indicated his intention to sell the Rs 7,000 crore company, therefore a new owner is expected to be found soon.
On November 24, the seasoned businessman disclosed that Tata Consumer Products Ltd. is one of the parties he is in talks with while looking for a buyer for his packaged water company Bisleri International.
The 82-year-old businessman responded that someone had to handle the sale of Bisleri because his daughter Jayanti is not interested in taking over the company.

- The majority of Jayanti Chauhan’s childhood was spent in Delhi, Bombay, and New York City.
- She has studied fashion styling at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, product development at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, and fashion styling and photography at the London College of Fashion.
- At the age of 24, JRC set out on her Bisleri voyage with the help of her father.
- She assumed leadership of the Delhi office, where she had her first job and where she had worked her way up, and she also took on the challenge of remodeling the factory and automating different operations.
- In order to create better teams, Jayanti Chauhan has also reorganized departments including HR, sales, and marketing.
- According to the Bisleri website, Jayanti Chauhan assumed leadership of the Mumbai office in 2011 and has broad exposure to the world and cross-category experience.
- Jayanti Chauhan has been actively involved in streamlining the operations for Bisleri Mineral Water, Vedica Natural Mineral Water from the Himalayas (the Luxury Segment), Fizzy Fruit Drinks, and Bisleri Hand Purifier in addition to working on new product development.
