Washington Sundar, reflecting on his standout display in India’s third T20I against Zimbabwe, emphasized the need for continuous improvement to secure a place in future Indian squads. Sundar, named Player of the Match, showcased his all-around skills with figures of 3/15 from his off-breaks, including key wickets that shaped the game.

“I believe it’s crucial to keep refining my game, both with bat and ball, to earn a spot in upcoming squads,” Sundar remarked, highlighting his contributions in breaking crucial partnerships during Zimbabwe’s chase of India’s 182-run target.

Sundar credited his teammates for executing their plans effectively, particularly in the latter stages of the match. “We had to bowl our best and restrict them while aiming to pick up wickets. It was a team effort to maintain composure under pressure,” he noted.
