Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda Open Up After Saiyaara’s Success

After the blockbuster success of Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have finally broken their silence in a joint interview. Interestingly, Yash Raj Films and the cast skipped the usual promotional blitz before release, allowing the film itself to speak for their talent. The gamble paid off, with Saiyaara winning both critical and audience acclaim.

In the interview, Ahaan shared that his biggest joy was seeing the film take centre stage, rather than publicity overshadowing it. “For the first time, a film came first, and as an artiste, that’s the best thing you could ask for,” he reflected, proud that his work reached audiences before his persona did.

Aneet, meanwhile, revealed a personal memory from before she was cast. During auditions, Ahaan had accompanied her to Mount Mary Church. When she asked what he had prayed for, he told her he wished for her to get the role. The gesture, she said, gave her strength and eventually turned prophetic.
