About Brahma kumaris:
Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (Brahma Kumaris) is a global spiritual movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal. Founded in India in 1937, the organization has expanded to more than 135 countries across all continents and has made a significant contribution as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in various fields.
At its core, Brahma Kumaris is committed to helping individuals transform their perspective from a materialistic outlook to a spiritual one. It promotes the development of a deep collective consciousness of peace while upholding the inherent dignity of every soul. The organization emphasizes self-transformation, inner peace, and universal brotherhood, with the primary aim of helping people realize their true identity as spiritual beings and establish a connection with the Supreme Divine.
To achieve these objectives, Brahma Kumaris offers free courses in Raja Yoga meditation, positive thinking, and value-based living through its worldwide network of community centres, educational initiatives, and humanitarian service programs.
Headquartered at Abu Road (formerly associated with Mount Abu) in Rajasthan, India, the organization operates thousands of centres across the country and around the world. Through these centres, Brahma Kumaris works with people from all sections of society to bring about positive social change by empowering individuals to manage the challenges and stresses of modern life. It encourages the cultivation of higher moral and spiritual values, enabling people to enrich both their personal and professional lives.icance of the content and the large public following of the Prime Minister’s social media accounts. The Centre’s repeated engagement with Meta indicates that it views the matter as more than a routine content-moderation dispute.
Sources said the government may also seek a written apology from the company over the incident. Such a step would underline the seriousness with which authorities are treating the episode and could add another dimension to the ongoing discussion over accountability of major technology platforms.
The controversy has emerged at a time when social media companies are facing increasing scrutiny in India over transparency, content moderation and the use of automated systems. Platforms such as Instagram and Facebook rely heavily on algorithms to identify and moderate content, but errors or unexplained decisions can generate concerns, particularly when they involve prominent political figures. The Centre’s latest move also comes against the backdrop of protests and public criticism surrounding the handling of the Prime Minister’s video.
