The trailer of Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav starrer Om Ka Hari has been released, introducing audiences to an unusual and emotionally layered father-son story. Directed by Harish Vyas, the slice-of-life drama follows Hari Prasad, played by Raghubir Yadav, who believes that his death is approaching and travels to Varanasi to prepare for his final days.
His son Om, portrayed by Anshuman Jha, decides to accompany him. However, their journey is far from peaceful. The father and son frequently clash over their choices, perspectives and approach to life. As they spend time together in Varanasi, their disagreements gradually give way to conversations about emotions and relationships that have remained unspoken for years.
Soni Razdan also plays a pivotal role in the film.
Adding another emotional layer to the trailer is the music of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle. Her voice accompanies Hari’s journey as the story moves between themes of mortality, family, memories and reconciliation.

Talking about his character, Raghubir Yadav said that a father and son can disagree about almost everything while remaining deeply connected. He explained that Hari believes he is travelling to Varanasi to prepare for death, making the journey as much about confronting life as it is about facing mortality.
Anshuman Jha described the film as a story that does not romanticise family relationships. According to him, the person we argue with most can often be the person we love most deeply.
Third Collaboration Between Harish Vyas and Anshuman Jha
Om Ka Hari marks the third collaboration between director Harish Vyas and Anshuman Jha. The duo previously worked together on Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain and Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele.
The film features Raghubir Yadav and Anshuman Jha in the central roles, with singer legendary Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar , Raghubir Yadav and paresh Pahuja and others.

Asha Bhosle’s Last Recorded Film Song
One of the major highlights of Om Ka Hari is Asha Bhosle’s last recorded film song, Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chupi Hai Kahan. The song has been scheduled to be released on September 8, Composed by Rajive Saarang and lyrics by Pradeep Sharma Khusro coinciding with the legendary singer’s birth anniversary.

Om Ka Hari Film Festival Journey
The film has already travelled through several international film festivals. Om Ka Hari had its world premiere at Stuttgart in 2025 and was subsequently screened at IFFM Melbourne and CSAFF, generating attention on the festival circuit ahead of its wider release.
With its focus on an imperfect family relationship rather than a conventional father-son narrative, Om Ka Hari promises an intimate exploration of family, mortality, reconciliation and emotional connection, with Varanasi providing the backdrop for Hari and Om’s transformative journey.
