Income Tax Department Searches Locations Linked to Rakul Preet Singh, Vashu Bhagnani

The Income Tax Department has conducted searches at multiple locations in Mumbai in connection with an investigation into suspected financial irregularities involving individuals and companies associated with the Hindi film industry. The searches reportedly covered premises linked to actor Rakul Preet Singh, film producer Vashu Bhagnani and Panorama Studios.

According to reports, officials carried out searches at around 12 locations as part of an inquiry into alleged discrepancies in financial transactions. The investigation is reportedly examining whether funds connected with film projects were routed through different entities and whether there were irregularities in financial records.

The action comes amid increased scrutiny by tax authorities of financial transactions within the entertainment industry.
