To create awareness amongst the public about cleanliness, stating that it is not just about a clean house, but also about a clean city, ASG Eye Hospital organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Campaign. The ASG Eye Hospitals group has a global presence with its branches spread across 38 cities in India and East Africa and Nepal. This awareness Campaign was organised by all three hospitals ASG Eye Hospital at Sreebhumi ( main),Tollygunge, and Agarpara which is spread across 19 states and 40 cities of the country. Mr. SUJIT BOSE, Minister of state in the Ministry of Fire and Emergency Services of West Bengal; Mr. NANDA DULAL GHOSH, Officer-in charge Laketown police station; Mr. NETAI DUTTA, Vice Chairman south Dumdum Municipality, Mr. TAPAMOY CHATTOPADHYAY, Inspector of traffic Bidhannagar traffic guard; Mr. HARASUNDAR SATPATHI, Inspector of traffic Laketown traffic guard; Mr. GOURAV SHARMA, Commissioner of police Bidhannagar and Ms. DEBASMITA DAS, Deputy commissioner of police Bidhannagar (HQ) were present at the Kolkata Sreebhumi Rally. At Kolkata BT Road, Agarpara Ms. Minakshi Dutta, Councillor, Ward no. 8, Panihati Municipality and Mr. Ratan Chakraborty, Office – in charge Belghoria Police station were present. At Kolkata Tollygunge Ms. Mamata Majumdar, Councillor Ward no.89; Ms. JUI BISWAS, Councilor of Ward No. 81, Officer- In charge of Charu Market Police Station; Officer-In charge of Tollygunge Police Station; Tollygunge Traffic Guard, South Kolkata and Assistant Commissioner of police, South Division, Kolkata.
Doctors of ASG EYE HOSPITAL said that ASG EYE HOSPITAL GROUP has always worked
with full sensitivity towards the public and has tried to inspire and sensitize the society through
various awareness campaigns across the country from time to time. The program also serves
thanks giving to our Pourakarmikas who are our unsung heroes. As of now the program is being
organised once in a year but in days to come we try to organise twice in a year.
In continuation of such efforts a huge Campaign along with Rally was organized by ASG Eye
Hospital, all three branches at 5.00 AM to create awareness about cleanliness.
Employees of ASG Hospital, Kolkata and all the members of various social organizations
participated in the Campaign. All the people who participated in the Campaign took a pledge to
fulfill their duties towards cleanliness by collecting the garbage at the premises.
