Campbell Wilson, CEO of Air India, has stepped down as Chairman of the airline’s low-cost subsidiary, Air India Express, according to an internal memo confirmed by the airline. Nipun Aggarwal, a current board member of Air India Express, will succeed Wilson as Chairman, while Basil Kwauk, Air India’s Chief Operations Officer, will join the board in Wilson’s place .​ This leadership change is part of Air India’s ongoing restructuring efforts under its transformation plan, Vihaan.AI.
