MCCI Ladies Forum Hosts Special Session on Women Empowerment and Inclusive Growth

Kolkata: The Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Ladies Forum organised a special session on “Empowering Women, Enabling India: Leadership, Safety, Entrepreneurship & Inclusive Growth” at the MCCI Conference Hall on August 5, 2026.
The session brought together women leaders, industry representatives, and stakeholders to discuss opportunities for enhancing women’s participation in leadership, entrepreneurship, workplace safety, and inclusive development.
During the programme, Shruti Jhajharia, Co-Chairperson, MCCI Ladies Forum, and Jaspreet Kaur, Member, MCCI Ladies Forum and Director, JIS Group, presented a memento to Malati Rava Roy, Hon’ble Minister of Women & Child Development, Government of West Bengal.
The interaction highlighted the importance of creating stronger support systems for women entrepreneurs, promoting equal opportunities, and building a safer and more inclusive environment for women across sectors. The event reaffirmed MCCI Ladies Forum’s commitment to advancing women-led growth and social empowerment.
