Sigma Advanced Systems Secures ₹155-Crore Anti-Drone Order, Expands Rolls-Royce Partnership

Indian defence and aerospace company Sigma Advanced Systems has strengthened its position in the defence sector by securing an anti-drone order worth ₹155 crore and expanding its aerospace partnership with the UK’s Rolls-Royce.

The anti-drone contract highlights the growing demand for advanced counter-unmanned aerial systems as India strengthens its capabilities to detect and neutralise emerging aerial threats. Meanwhile, the expanded aerospace collaboration, valued at around ₹1,600 crore, underlines the increasing role of Indian companies in global defence and aerospace supply chains.

The developments reflect India’s push towards indigenous defence manufacturing, technology development and greater participation of domestic firms in high-value aerospace programmes, supporting the broader Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
