Kolkata, September 26, 2026: Alliance Club International District 101, in association with Jain Social Group, hosted a grand Dandiya and Garba Night on September 26 at Spring Club, Kolkata, bringing together nearly 800 to 1,000 guests and participants for an evening of music, dance, festivity and camaraderie.

The venue came alive with the vibrant colours and traditional spirit of Gujarat as guests dressed in colourful Gujarati-themed attire gathered to celebrate the festive evening. Popular Bollywood and Gujarati music created an energetic atmosphere, with participants enthusiastically joining in Garba and Dandiya throughout the programme.

The event marked the first grand Dandiya and Garba celebration organized by Alliance Club International District 101 and was conducted under the guidance and leadership of District Governor Ally Mayur Shah and First Lady Ally Asha Shah. Their leadership and support played an important role in making the celebration a memorable success.

The organizing team also received valuable support from Cabinet Secretary Ally Sandip Chaudhary, Cabinet Treasurer Ally Gyanveer Daga and Cabinet PRO Ally Vikas Wadia, whose contributions helped ensure the smooth execution of the programme.

The celebration was graced by several eminent dignitaries and senior office-bearers of Alliance Club International, including Founder Ally Satish Lakhotia, Co-Founder Ally Kamal Lakhotia, International President Ally Manish Lakhotia, Past International President Ally Sushil Agarwal, Ally Shyam Sundar Kabra, Ally Vimal Birla, Ally Harsha Desai, Ally Manisha Samtaney, Ally Bharat Shah and MCC East Ally Leeta Poddar.

Members and representatives of Jain Social Group also played an important role in the successful organization of the event, contributing to its scale, coordination and festive spirit.

The programme was efficiently conducted by Ally Manish Seth, while renowned artist Keyur Mehta and his team added to the excitement with energetic musical performances and engaging stage presentation. Their lively performances kept the audience entertained and encouraged guests to participate in Garba and Dandiya well into the evening.

Adding further excitement to the celebration were a series of entertaining competitions for different age groups. More than 50 trophies were presented to participants in recognition of their performances, making the competitions one of the highlights of the evening.

Several other distinguished Alliance Club office-bearers were also present, including Ally Pawan Gupta, Ally Shyam Agarwal, DC Ally Rani Duggar, DC Coordinator Ally Vikas Jain, Event Coordinator Ally Jayshree Daga and Ally Pramod Kedia, along with other dignitaries and members from various districts.

Mr. Bikamchand Pugalia and Mr. Ashok Jain, accompanied by their wives, were among the special guests who attended the celebration.

The organizers made extensive arrangements for the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, including food and refreshments. A specially designed selfie counter at the venue proved to be another popular attraction, with attendees enthusiastically capturing memories of the festive evening.
