In Manipur, Congress workers and supporters also staged protests, with security forces using tear gas shells to disperse gatherings amid heightened tensions. The demonstrations come as the Congress continues to raise concerns over electoral processes and other political issues. Authorities maintained security arrangements at protest locations to prevent escalation and maintain public order.
