INDIAN AIR FORCE AIRLIFTS 23 TONNES OF NDRF RELIEF MATERIAL TO VIJAYAWADA

Vijayawada: Strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response efforts, the Indian Air Force (IAF) deployed two C-130J transport aircraft to airlift 23 tonnes of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) relief supplies to Vijayawada.

The operation aims to enhance preparedness and ensure the timely availability of essential relief materials to manage the aftermath of Cyclone Arnab. The rapid deployment of heavy-lift transport aircraft highlights the IAF’s crucial role in supporting humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations across the country.

Reaffirming its commitment to national service, the Indian Air Force continues to work alongside disaster management agencies to safeguard lives, facilitate emergency response and provide critical assistance to communities affected by natural calamities.
