Blake Lively featured on Times 100 most influential list

Time Magazine has released its list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2025. The roster includes actor Blake Lively in the ‘Titans’ category, where she is alongside figures such as Ted Sarandos, Serena Williams, and Mark Zuckerberg, among others. Blake has gained attention since the debut of her 2024 film It Ends With Us, which led to the explosive lawsuit where she accused co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and a smear campaign aimed at tarnishing her reputation.

Blake’s citation has been penned by Sherrilyn Ifill, a civil rights lawyer. An excerpt from it reads, “I admired immediately her curiosity, and her sincere work to understand the conditions that shape this country. I remember an early conversation in which she expressed frustration that so much of our nation’s history was not part of the instruction she had received as a student. Her commitment to filling those gaps—and becoming the most fully informed and prepared citizen—is what I appreciate most about her. Blake is a serious person. She’s a risk taker. And she’s committed to moving this country forward. For her children. And for mine.”

Blake made headlines in December last year after alleging that her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni engaged in sexual harassment and created a hostile work environment, as well as orchestrating a smear campaign aimed at damaging her image and career. The tensions escalated as Justin filed a counter lawsuit to strengthen his argument. Their court date is set for March 2026.

In terms of work, Blake will soon appear in the movie Another Simple Favor. The romantic comedy drama featuring Anna Kendrick will be available on Prime Video starting May 1. It is a follow-up to A Simple Favor that came out in 2018, and the movie is helmed by Paul Feig.
