NASA Unveils Artemis III Crew for Historic Return to the Moon

NASA has announced the four astronauts selected for the Artemis III mission, marking a significant step in humanity’s planned return to the lunar surface more than five decades after the Apollo era. The mission is expected to play a crucial role in advancing international cooperation and testing technologies designed for future deep-space exploration.

The crew includes three American astronauts and one Italian astronaut from the European Space Agency (ESA). Veteran astronaut Randy Bresnik has been named commander of the mission, while Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano will serve as pilot. Mission specialists Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas will complete the team tasked with carrying out one of NASA’s most ambitious lunar expeditions in recent history.
