Senior Executives appointed to Jet Airways by JKC

Jet Airways is being revived again under the IBC (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code) after having suspended its operations in April 2019 as per the guidelines of NCLT plan of Jalan Kalrock Consortium (JKC).
For again resuming its operations, JKC has appointed Srihari Venugopal as the Vice President of Network Planning. Venugopal was formerly the Vice President of Network Planning in Go First (formerly known as Go Air). He also served Spicejet, Air Asia, Bengaluru International Airport, Air Pegasus and the Saudi Arabian carrier Flynas before joining Go First. Venugopal will mainly be responsible for looking after the development and strategizing of route planning of Jet Airways.
The second recruitment done by JKC is that of Tanay Palshetkar in the position of Assistant Vice President of Pricing and Revenue Management for the airways. Palshetkar was also formerly associated with Go First as the GM of Revenue Management. Beginning his career with Jet Airways 22 years ago, Palshetkar transitioned through various sectors in the industry. He also holds experience in the field as he priorly was associated also with Kingfisher Airlines, UAE-based RAK Airways, FlyDubai and even AirAsia. Both Venugopal and Palshetkar will require to report to the Airlines’ CEO Sanjiv Kapoor as per the company rules.
“Both Srihari and Tanay, bring great abilities and the right experience to help us relaunch Jet Airways. We welcome both of them to the Jet Airways family, and we are delighted that our entire senior management team is now almost fully in place, as we get closer to creating history together”, said CEO Sanjiv Kapoor when asked about the new recruitment.
