‘The Baul of Bengal’ have arranged an annual function at SISIR MANCH on 11th November 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The theme of the function is opporon bondhu re which will be graced by chief guest Dr. PABITRA SARKAR and honorable guest SRI P.C SORCAR JR and SRI L.N. MEENA, IPS.
To make the events more successful and graceful there will be a performance that includes song and dance by ‘The Baul of Bengal’ and Boul song from BIRBHUM.
The event will also witness the presence of SRI BASHUDEB DAS BAUL, SMT. SANDHYA RANI DAS, SRI SANAT DAS BAUL, SMT. TAPATI MUKHERJEE, PADMASHRI PANDIT PURNA DAS BAUL SAMRAT and DIBYENDU DAS.
Talking about ‘The Boul of Bengal’ they are known as wandering minstrels whose performance includes song and dance that conveys love, peace and joy to society. Their identification are there saffron robe and beads necklace and carrying Ektara and Dotara (musical instrument)
