Virat Kohli bangs Most awaited 71st century.

The modern-day batting great Virat Kohli has finally smashed a century in international after 1020 days.
This is his 71st international century and now he has joint-second-most centuries in the history of the game.
Virat Kohli, who has finally found his mojo back after a lengthy lean patch, smashed his century in the 5th match of the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 round against the Mohammad Nabi-led Afghanistan National
Cricket Team at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, September 8.
Before today, Kohli had last scored an international century in November 2019. Kohli scored last scored a test century in November 2019 at Eden Gardens against Bangladesh and ODI century in August 2019 at
Queen’s Park Oval against West Indies. Virat Kohli’s international century has come exactly after 2 years,
9 months, and 16 days. This was Kohli’s first T20I ton.
Virat Kohli has now become the 4 th India National Cricket Team batter to smash a century in all three formats of the game after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
Overall, he scored 122 runs off 61 balls, including 12 fours and 6 sixes, and he batted with a strike rate of 200. Kohli has now become the highest run-getter in the ongoing Asia Cup. Also, India were able to post
212/2 on the board after losing the toss and batting first.
