Know Baba Siddique’s son’s net worth and more

The late NCP leader Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, has been nominated by the party to run in the 2024 Maharashtra elections from Bandra East. Siddique, who joined the NCP following the criminals’ murder of his father, will face Varun Sardesai, a candidate for the Shiv Sena (UBT). Aaditya Thackeray’s cousin is Sardesai. Zeeshan was ousted from the Congress party after serving as an MLA.

After the announcement of his nomination, Zeeshan Siddique said, “My father Baba Siddique ji always fought for the poor and weaker sections of the society and firmly believed in hard work and perseverance. As a father it was his dream to see me win these elections after all the work we have done in Vandre east and now it is my duty to fulfil his dream and serve the people of Vandre east.”

After the most recent state elections, Siddique’s net worth was approximately ₹9 crore, according to 2019 affidavit data on the MyNeta platform. About ₹1.74 crore was spent on movable assets, such as shares and bank deposits.The value of the immovable assets, which were mostly residential structures, was around ₹7.24 crore. These numbers may have altered since then. Additionally, the portal stated that Zeeshan Siddique owed ₹76 lakh in obligations.

At the moment, Siddique represents Bandra East as an MLA. With 38,337 votes, he defeated Vishwanath Mahadeshwar of the Shiv Sena, the Mumbai mayor at the time, by a margin of 5,790 votes in 2019.Following the announcement, Zeeshan expressed gratitude to the NCP leadership for helping him through “tough times.”For “trusting him with the responsibility to contest with the blessings of the people and my father’s guidance,” he expressed his gratitude to Ajit Pawar.

According to the press, he further stated, “Humbled by this opportunity, I will seek people’s mandate and work tirelessly to advance the cause my father dedicated his life to, serving the people of Bandra East and beyond.”
