Fadnavis provides a roadmap for holistic development in Maharashtra.

During the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislature in Nagpur, a comprehensive overview of the measures being implemented for the general development of Vidarbha and Marathwada was given, including decisions on irrigation, industries, river-linking projects, and infrastructure. In addition, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented a roadmap for a developed, balanced, and complete Maharashtra. During this session, 17 legislation were passed after significant debate. Chief Minister Fadnavis also stated that the Public Safety Bill has been sent to a joint committee so that all stakeholders may express their opinions.

Following the adjournment of the winter session of the legislature, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presided over a news conference on the grounds of the legislature in Nagpur.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis remarked that his government has made measures that benefit farmers, ordinary residents, and the development of Vidarbha and Marathwada. Significant money have been provided to sustain projects such as the Mukhyamantri Baliraja Mofat Veej Yojana and the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana, as part of the budgetary provisions given during this session.

A total of Rs 165 crore has been handed to 55,000 orange growers impacted by disasters. Cotton has received a bonus, while soybean procurement has reached a record high, which will continue until January 12. As cotton and tur market prices stay high, farmers are selling their products. The Chief Minister further stated that the administration is trying to boost crops and offer help to farmers via a variety of initiatives.

An deal has been inked with the Asian Development Bank for the second phase of the Nagpur Metro project, which would get Rs 3,586 crore in financial support over 20 years at an interest rate of 0.72%. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also announced that the Asian Development Bank will fund programs such as linking villages with over 1,000 people via concrete roads through the ‘Mitra’ organization, expanding industrial training institutes, and promoting the bamboo campaign.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde noted that various decisions made over the last two and a half years have resulted in major improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens. He went on to say that their responsibilities have grown, and they would continue to work together for the growth and welfare of the common people, particularly women.He stated that this session was effective because it aimed to ensure holistic growth for both individuals and the state. Ministers Shambhuraj Desai, Sanjay Rathod, Ashish Jaiswal, and Nitesh Rane also attended the event.
