B.D.M. International Alumni Association Organises ‘GIVE LIFE’ Blood Donation Camp to Support Cancer Care

Kolkata, July 25, 2026: Demonstrating the true spirit of compassion, community service, and social responsibility, the B.D.M. International Alumni Association successfully organised its annual “GIVE LIFE” Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at the Stepping Stone Building, B.D.M. International, Pratapgarh, Narendrapur.
The initiative was dedicated to supporting Cancer Care and Research and was organised in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Calcutta Endeavour, Interact Club of B.D.M. International, and the Ruby Cancer Care and Research Foundation (RCCRF).
The programme was graced by renowned Indian footballer Syed Nabin Rabi as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring presence motivated participants to contribute to the noble cause. Other distinguished guests included Kamalica Bhowmik, Vice Principal of B.D.M. International; Somnath Roy, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Ruby General Hospital; Amit Roy, Senior Marketing Manager, Ruby General Hospital; Sujata Gupta; and several members of the Rotary Club of Calcutta Endeavour.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents, alumni, Rotarians, and members of the local community. Around 100 voluntary blood donors came forward to donate blood, helping strengthen the blood supply for patients undergoing cancer treatment and other life-saving medical procedures.
Speaking on the occasion, organisers highlighted that every unit of blood donated has the potential to save multiple lives and plays a crucial role in supporting patients battling critical illnesses.
The B.D.M. International Alumni Association reaffirmed its commitment to organising meaningful social initiatives that promote compassion, community engagement, and a culture of voluntary service among students, alumni, parents, and the wider community.
