Chola Dynasty: Origin

Decline of Chola Dynasty Because Rajaraja Chola III and his successor Rajendra Chola III were weak, the Cholas began to have problems. After losing the majority of its overseas holdings, the Chola empire also started to lose influence in Srivijava, which marked the beginning of its demise. However, the Chola Empire continued to control parts of Southern India into the late 12th century. However, the Pandyan Dynasty came to power at the start of the 13th century, which ultimately brought an end to the Chola Empire.
