The United Kingdom’s new prime minister has been named Rishi Sunak. A tweet from Larry the Downing Street cat has gone viral as congratulations stream in for the new PM. It shows a picture of Mr. Sunak speaking on a platform, with the cat also visible in the background.
Larry the cat is shown in the image relaxing next to a streetlight as Mr. Sunak gives a speech. The Chief Mouser of the Cabinet Office tweeted, “My old mate Faisal Islam made sure to catch an angle highlighting the true boss around here.”
