Mahayagya to be Held with Resolutions for the Return of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir to India and the Ghar Wapsi of Converted Hindus

Kolkata: West Bengal is set to witness a historic and grand Sanatan religious event in the coming New Year. Preparations have begun for a 1008-Kundiya Mahayagya and grand Sanatan Mahaanushthan under the guidance and auspicious presence of Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj.

The proposed religious ceremony will include special yajnas and rituals centred on resolutions for the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to India and the Ghar Wapsi of Hindus who have converted to other religions for various reasons.

In this connection, Shri Suvendu Adhikari met Pujya Acharya Shri Ramchandra Das Ji Maharaj, successor to Tulsi Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, at his place of stay late Wednesday night and sought his blessings.

During the meeting, Acharya Shri Ramchandra Das Ji Maharaj briefed him about the proposed mega religious ceremony in Bengal. He said the Mahayagya would be conducted through 1,008 sacred fire altars, accompanied by Vedic chants and prayers dedicated to the nation, Dharma and the Sanatan community.

Considering the scale of the proposed event, the Maharaj sought cooperation from the administration, government and all sections of society.

Shri Suvendu Adhikari assured that, if a new government is formed in Bengal, programmes associated with Hindutva, Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture and religious events would receive full cooperation and support.

During the meeting, several prominent industrialists, social workers and eminent citizens from Kolkata also met Shri Adhikari and discussed the proposed Mahaanushthan.

Extensive Outreach Campaign to Begin Across Bengal

To give the proposed Mahaanushthan a historic scale, a series of meetings will soon be organised with prominent social and religious organisations, senior social workers, industrialists, intellectuals and representatives of Sanatan institutions across West Bengal.

The meetings will focus on the event’s planning, public participation, logistical arrangements and strategies to connect the Sanatan community from different parts of Bengal with the Mahaanushthan.

The organisers aim to make the event more than just a religious gathering, envisioning it as a major platform for Sanatan unity, cultural awakening and resolutions in the national interest, sending a strong message from Bengal to the country.

Senior office-bearers of the Bengal unit of Ramanand Mission provided details regarding the proposed programme and preparations.
