Himanta Biswa Sarma Inaugurates Northeast Startup and Innovation Conclave 2026

Guwahati, September 25: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Northeast Startup and Innovation Conclave (NESFIC 2026), an initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration between young innovators, technology startups and government agencies. The conclave seeks to create a platform where startups can develop innovative solutions to address complex challenges faced by the government and industry. The initiative is expected to encourage entrepreneurship, promote technology-driven problem-solving and provide emerging innovators with opportunities to engage with policymakers and industry stakeholders. NESFIC 2026 also underlines the growing focus on building a stronger startup and innovation ecosystem in Northeast India.
