Anushka Sharma’s Sweet Tribute as Virat Kohli Blazes to 53rd ODI Century

Actor Anushka Sharma celebrated her husband, cricket star Virat Kohli, with a loving tribute on social media after he struck his second consecutive century in the One Day International (ODI) series against South Africa.

Kohli registered his 53rd ODI century (and 84th international century overall) during the second ODI held in Raipur. The monumental knock places him second only to legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who holds the record of 100 international centuries. In the previous match, Kohli had also played a match-winning innings of 135 runs.

The cricketer marked his 53rd century milestone by lifting his bat and helmet, then performing a heartwarming gesture: kissing the wedding ring he wears on a chain around his neck while looking up at the sky.
