Bharats’ G20 Presidency sowed seeds of global Socio- Cultural – Economic Evolution through Cooperation

New Delhi/Kolkata : G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration under Bharat’s G20 Presidency indicate world is on threshold of major socio -cultural-economic evolution within upcoming decade.
Two days summit meeting of leaders of G20 concluded on positive note with call for cooperation, continuous dialogue, sharing of knowledge, sharing of infrastructures for inclusive sustainable growth of all member nations who are part of G20 . In fact ,as African Union became new member of G20 group on 9th September 2023, G20 group expanded into G21 . Inclusion of African Union will give voice to nations who are part of Global South .
Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has announced India will host another G20 virtual meeting before conclusion of India’s current G20 Presidency in end November 2023 to review progress on matters in this summit.
India will co-chair implementation of Financial Inclusion Action Plan for next three years. India has best Digital Public Infrastructures in the world at present. India has offered to share its Digital Public Infrastructures with member states of G20 group as well as facilitate adoption of Digital Public Infrastructures by customizing it according to each countries requirements .
Prime Minister of Bharat Narendra Modi has handed over the G20 presidency to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The G20 Summit 2024 will be organized by Brazil. President of Brazil Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva praised Shri Narendra Modi for his leadership and highlighted social inclusion, fighting hunger, energy transition, and sustainable development as priorities for the next session .
Brazil will officially takeover G20 Presidency on December 1, 2023.
G20 Leaders Summit concluded with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ‘s call for hope and peace around the world in line with Bharat’s G20 Presidency theme ” “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth • One Family • One Future” .
