For The Quiet Architect Of Words And Dreams

Saikat Kumar Basu/ 18th September 2026

To the Editor
I know how journalists and particularly editors like you, how they shape our lives across the planet. Since last night, I composed this poem dedicated to the efforts of News Mania as an Editor.

For The Quiet Architect Of Words And Dreams
Saikat Kumar Basu

Where scattered thoughts seek wings to fly,
Where verses bloom beneath the sky,
There stands a heart, both calm and wise,
That gives the written word its rise.

You do not merely edit a page,
You kindle thought, you shape an age;
With discerning eyes and a generous heart,
You give each voice a place, a part.

Through News Mania, you open a door
To worlds that words have held before;
You bring together dream and thought,
And make the unseen beauty caught.

A manuscript becomes a song,
A humble thought is made more strong;
A writer’s hesitant voice finds grace,
When you provide it room and space.

Behind each printed line their lies
The warmth of vision, the reader’s eyes;
And in your labour, often unseen,
Lives a devotion rare and serene.

You have made more than a name—
A living platform, a literary flame;
Where intellect, imagination and art
Meet in harmony, heart to heart.

For every page you help unfold,
For every story lovingly told,
Accept my gratitude, deep and true,
For all that a news becomes through you.

May your journey continue to inspire,
With words that illuminate and never tire;
May journalism flourish wherever you stand,
Guided by wisdom, vision and hand.

To you, dear Editor, my homage I send—
A guardian of letters, a writer’s friend;
May your News Mania forever remain
A radiant landscape of thought’s golden rain.
