NCRI Hospital celebrated National Doctors’ day with Felicitation od Doctors and CME programme on advanced cancer care

Kolkata, 1 July 2026: NCRI Hospital (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital) celebrated National Doctors’ Day with a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme and a Doctors’ Day Felicitation Ceremony on Wednesday, 1st July 2026, from 12:30 p.m. onwards at its Nayabad campus in Kolkata.

The programme was organized to pay tribute to the dedicated service and outstanding contributions of doctors towards patient care and public health, while reinforcing the importance of continuing medical education and the adoption of emerging advances in healthcare.

The theme of this year’s CME was “The Contribution of NCRI Hospital (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital) in Advanced Cancer Care.” The academic sessions showcased the institution’s achievements in comprehensive cancer care, highlighting recent advances in oncology, innovative treatment modalities, multidisciplinary approaches, and evidence-based clinical practices adopted at the hospital. Eminent faculty members and specialists delivered expert lectures and experiences in advancing cancer treatment and patient outcomes.

The programme was graced by Dr. Sharadwat Mukherjee, Hon’ble Minister, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, and Dr. Indranil Khan, Hon’ble Minister of State, Department of Youth Services and Consumer Affairs, Government of West Bengal.
