Hon’ble Indranil Khan Mahashay, Minister of Independent Charge of ‘Sports and Youth Welfare’ and ‘Consumer Protection’ Department, Government of West Bengal took charge.

Born in a family of doctors, Indranil was very talented from childhood. He completed MBBS in 2013 and worked as a House Surgeon in North Bengal Medical College. He then cleared the M.D. entrance examination in the first attempt and completed his M.D. in Radiotherapy at Calcutta Medical College. Later he received Special Honors in Medical Oncology (ESMO) from Oxford, UK.

He is a renowned oncologist in his professional life. He has worked as an oncologist in top medical centers like CMRI, Manipal, Amri, Woodlands and Medica Superspeciality Hospitals in Kolkata.
