In her August 4 Instagram post, holistic nutritionist Anjali Joshi offers 10 easy fat-burning strategies that can help you shed up to 10 kg in only three months.

Diet and eating patterns to reduce body fat
1. Include fat-burning spices: To naturally increase metabolism, add cayenne pepper, turmeric, and cinnamon to meals.
2. Eat veggies and protein first to decrease cravings for carbohydrates and to feel fuller more quickly.
3. Have a glass of water five to ten minutes before meals to help regulate appetite and portion control.
4. Use smaller dishes to make it appear as though you are eating more.
5. Pick meals that are strong in protein and low in calories: Maintain a calorie deficit while feeling satisfied.
6. Give up processed carbohydrates and sweets; your waist will appreciate it.
7. Give up using the scale: Use measurements, pictures, and how your clothes fit to monitor your progress.
