The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that Mumbai all-rounder Suryansh Shedge has been drafted into both squads as Reddy’s replacement.

Reddy sustained a left quadriceps injury during India’s recently concluded ODI series against Afghanistan. Medical examinations later confirmed that the youngster would require rehabilitation and recovery time, making him unavailable for the forthcoming T20 assignments.
