University of Bari, Italy
The University of Bari is located in Bari, the region of Puglia in southern Italy. The Bari English Medical Curriculum is a course offered in English at the renowned medical school there (BEMC). Both EU and non-EU students can enroll in this six-year medical program for a low cost.
An ex-participant in this program claims that the tuition costs are comparable to those at other Italian medical schools. One of the least expensive medical schools in Europe, the public institution costs between 156 and 2,000 euros (about US$151 and US$1,945) per year, depending on your financial situation.
Semmelweis University, Hungary
Semmelweis University, which is located in Budapest, provides a six-year medical curriculum that is entirely taught in English to about 4,700 students each year, of whom 55% are international.
Before completing an internship at university clinics or recognized teaching hospitals, medical students must complete theoretical modules, pre-clinical modules, and clinical modules over the course of 12 semesters. The cost of tuition for the medical program is 16,300 euros ($15,855) each year.
Charles University, Czech Republic
There are five medical schools at Charles University, three of which are in Prague, one in Pilsen, and two in Hradec Králové. All of these autonomous colleges, each with their own set of tuition rates, provide degree programs in English. All medical programs typically last six years and result in a master’s degree in Doctor of General Medicine.
The cost of the second faculty in Prague is around CZK390,000 (roughly US$15,423), the third and fourth faculties in Prague and Pilsen are each CZK350,000 (roughly US$13,855), and the annual tuition is 450,000 Czech korunas (roughly US$17,795). The Hradec Králové campus charges fees of CZK310,000 (about $12,272) per semester.
