Shri Nallu Indrasena Reddy, the Governor of Tripura, paid a courtesy visit to former President Ram Nath Kovind at his residence in New Delhi. The meeting, shared by Kovind on social media platform X, reflected the continued observance of constitutional traditions and mutual respect among senior political leaders.

Shri Indrasena Reddy, a seasoned BJP leader from Telangana, was appointed as the 20th Governor of Tripura in October 2023. With a long political career spanning several decades, Reddy has held key positions within the Bharatiya Janata Party, including three terms as an MLA from Malakpet and a term as BJP’s state president in undivided Andhra Pradesh from 2003 to 2007. He also served as a national secretary of the party in 2014.

Since taking over as Governor, Reddy has engaged actively in Tripura’s development initiatives, focusing on outreach to tribal communities, agricultural modernization, and promotion of the state’s cultural heritage. His visit to Kovind, who served as India’s 14th President from 2017 to 2022, highlights a gesture of political goodwill and continuity within India’s constitutional framework.
