Kunickaa Sadanand Alleges Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure Took Documents From CINTAA Office

News Mania Desk/ Piyal Chatterjee/ 12th September 2026

Actor Kunickaa Sadanand has made allegations against veteran actors Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure, claiming that documents were removed from the office of the Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA). Sadanand described the alleged removal of papers as a “criminal offence” and raised the issue amid an ongoing dispute surrounding the association.

According to Sadanand, Dhillon and Kolhapure allegedly took certain papers from the CINTAA office. She questioned the circumstances under which the documents were removed and argued that such an action could have legal consequences. The allegations have added another layer to the disagreement within the actors’ association.

The controversy comes at a time when CINTAA has been dealing with internal differences and developments related to its administration and elections. The association represents television and film artistes and has a long-standing role in addressing issues concerning performers and their professional interests.

Sadanand has been vocal about the matter and, while discussing the alleged incident, maintained that documents belonging to the organisation could not simply be taken away without proper authorisation. She characterised the alleged action as serious and said it should not be dismissed as an internal disagreement.

The dispute is also linked to the process surrounding CINTAA’s elections. The association has been navigating disagreements over its electoral process, with the matter becoming the subject of legal proceedings and a court-directed election process.

The allegations against Dhillon and Kolhapure have emerged as part of this larger conflict. However, the claims made by Sadanand remain allegations, and there has been no independent confirmation in the report that the two actors unlawfully removed the documents or committed a criminal offence.

The development has attracted attention within the entertainment industry because of the involvement of several established artistes and the continuing dispute over the functioning of the association. CINTAA’s internal affairs have increasingly come under scrutiny as members debate its administration, elections and decision-making processes.
