The spy‑thriller “Dhurandhar,” starring Ranveer Singh, continued its strong performance at the box office even on its first weekday, marking a promising start to the week. After drawing big crowds over the opening weekend, the film appears to have passed the crucial “Monday test,” demonstrating sustained interest from audiences.
On its opening day (Friday), “Dhurandhar” registered a solid net collection of around ₹28–29 crore across India — the biggest opening of Ranveer Singh’s career so far. The momentum carried through the weekend: Saturday saw a rise to roughly ₹32 crore, followed by a record ₹43 crore on Sunday, taking the three‑day domestic total to about ₹103 crore.
On Monday, the film added another ₹8–9 crore (net), bringing its four‑day total to approximately ₹111–112 crore. These figures easily surpass the ₹100‑crore threshold, a milestone that few films manage so early, especially given the typical post-weekend dip.
Industry analysts say the film’s success is being driven by strong word-of-mouth, well‑received action sequences, and its ensemble cast. With these box‑office numbers, “Dhurandhar” has already out‑performed the lifetime domestic haul of several recent major releases — a considerable feat just days after release.
International markets have also responded well. Early overseas figures suggest the film is on track for a robust global performance, adding to its overall commercial appeal.
While the film’s weekday hold remains to be watched, current data indicates that “Dhurandhar” is well‑set for a long, successful theatrical run. If collections remain steady or grow, industry watchers expect the film could cross ₹150 crore domestically and potentially over ₹250 crore worldwide by the end of its run.
For now, “Dhurandhar” stands out as one of the biggest early‑success stories of the season — a strong comeback for Ranveer Singh and a major win for the makers, setting a high bar for upcoming releases.
