Sourav Ganguly’s Poor Presidency Was Criticized By The BCCI

Sourav Ganguly, a former Indian captain, was denied the opportunity to serve as BCCI president for a second term. The veteran was reportedly reprimanded for his subpar leadership of the organization, according to another story.

Arun Dhumal, the outgoing BCCI treasurer, and incoming IPL chairman have refuted these rumors and assertions.

Sourav will be replaced by Roger Binny, Jay Shah will continue to serve as secretary, and Rajeev Shukla will be re-elected to another term as vice president.

No one had criticized Ganguly, Dhumal claimed in an interview with PTI.

He declared that in independent India, no BCCI president has served a second term. All rumors that some of the members were attacking Sourav Ganguly are unfounded.

“No one criticized him. We all gave him our congratulations because he did a great job.” He continued, “As president, he led from the front.”

If Sourav had taken the offer, according to Dhumal, he wouldn’t have been elected the next IPL chairman.
