Birth Anniversary of Pandit Raghunath Murmu Observed With Floral Tributes At Jhargram

Jhargram : A commemorative programme was held on Friday morning at the central bus terminus in Jhargram town to observe the birth anniversary of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, the renowned figure who made lasting contributions to the development of tribal language and culture.
Floral tributes were offered to his portrait as a mark of deep respect and reverence. The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Ajit Mahato, Mangal Soren, Kalipada Soren, and Jhargram Municipality Chairperson Shiuli Singha, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries recalled the immense contributions of Pandit Raghunath Murmu in the fields of language and culture. They emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting tribal heritage and urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from his ideals and move forward in building a more inclusive society.
