Suvendu Adhikari, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Bhabanipur Assembly constituency, began his day by offering prayers at a Hanuman temple in the area before proceeding to Ward No. 77 as part of his election-day outreach.
Following the temple visit, Adhikari interacted with local residents and party workers, reviewing the polling situation and gauging voter turnout in the ward. His visit was seen as part of the party’s efforts to maintain close coordination at the grassroots level during the polling process.
Supporters gathered briefly during his visit, while security personnel ensured smooth movement and order in the area.
